Il Posto is a cultural association founded by Wanda Moretti in 1994 and located in Venice, Italy.Its goal is to support, encourage and spread the development and practice of the art of dance in addition to activities involving movement and personal expression.
Il Posto offers educational dance courses through various workshops, experimental performance productions, the organization of events related to research and new developments in the field of dance, as well as training courses and educational programs for schools, teachers, dancers and instructors.
The Association strives to provide high quality and professional initiatives open on two main fronts: education and training, and artistic and creative development. Il Posto has been founded on the conviction that these two fronts are absolutely interrelated.
Il Posto works in collaboration with institutions, foundations, local city councils, museums and other associations.

The Company Il Posto is dedicated to realizing event-performances and on staging productions which involve spatial, music and acoustic choreography. The objective is the integration of Dance, Music and Architecture.

Il Posto organizes practical workshops, demonstrations, dance lessons and specific educational programs for and within schools, institutions and museums.
Il Posto organizes and manages professional training and refresher courses, short workshops and theme-based seminars.
Il Posto offers educational dance workshops at the Female Penitentiary of Venice with support from the Veneto Regional Council.

Through the Proteo Project, Il Posto conducts research on the relationship between movement and architecture, the influence of structured space on human movement, and the study of perception based on the concept that everything is movement.
